It has certainly been an interesting start to the decade. At The Plant Yard, we would like to let you know we are still in operation and have extended our hours in response to the updated Planning Act announced by Minister for Planning and Public Spaces earlier this week. We have always offered out of hours service, but now more so than ever.

At The Plant Yard, we have sediment tanks available for hire, also known as settlement tanks or bins. They are the ideal water management solution when your construction site has received large downpours of rain or are working close to the groundwater table.

Our rumble grids, also known as shaker grids and wheel washes, are designed to remove mud and dirt from trucks and other vehicles leaving your construction site. This is a requirement by many Council DA’s and is built into many environmental and construction management plans under soil erosion control measures.

Hiring scaffolding for painting is the best and safest way to ensure a stable working platform when working at heights. Our aluminium scaffold is easy to assemble, mobile, lightweight and can also be used by electricians, insulators and interior decorators.

During bathroom renovations the loss of a home shower facility is a major inconvenience, with our portable shower hire, you can maintain this facility at home.

First Aid Cages and Crane Personnel Work Boxes are available for hire from The Plant Yard, Sydney. An important point to note is that persons suspended from a crane shall only be accommodated in first aid cages or crane personnel work boxes designed for that purpose and the boxes and cages must come with current engineering certification.

At The Plant Yard, we offer a variety of dangerous goods storage solutions for hire. These solutions include; chemical storage cabinets, flammable storage cupboards, dangerous goods storage containers and environmental spill pallet bunds. Having correct chemical saftey practices is extremely important on construction sites to ensure works can be completed safely.

Last weekend the River Canoe Club of New South Wales held the Cooks River Clean Up & Paddle Against Plastic. In conjunction with the organisation “Ocean Crusaders”, the event was a massive success with over 3000kg of rubbish being removed from the Cooks River over the weekend’s course.
