Do You Need A Portable Toilet And Shower Block?
The SafeWork NSW managing the work environment and facilities code of practice requires that all workers must have access to clean site toilets while on building sites. Toilet facilities should be offered to workers where reasonably practicable, rather than depending on access to existing public toilets during construction projects.
The code of practice requires that for every 20 male workers, there must be at least 1 closet pan and for every 25 males there must be 1 urinal. For every 15 females, at least 1 closet pan must be provided. These toilets should be equipped with a hinged seat and a lid. Be equipped with a hinged door that can be locked from the inside of each cubicle. Designed to enable emergency access and installed to ensure confidentiality for users. Toilet hire can ensure this code of practice is adhered to.
Our portable toilet and shower blocks are ideal for large construction sites as an easier and more cost effective alternative to portaloos. They can simply be connected to sewer plumbing which means no more pump outs are needed. With our largest toilet block containing 4 pans, a shower, a urinal and 4 hand wash basins, this will be able to service up to 80 workers under the SafeWork NSW code of practice. The cost to hire a portable toilet is much more cost efficient in comparison to purchasing.
Our portable toilet and shower blocks are available in these sizes for short and long term hire:
2.4x2.4 4.8x2.4 6.0x3.0
3.0x2.4 5.5x2.4 7.2x2.4
3.6x2.4 6.0x2.4
