Crane Man Box Hire
Our crane man boxes are also known as crane boxes or man bucket for cranes. They are specifically designed for carrying personnel via overhead crane to out of reach working areas. The crane box can be used when scaffolding and elevated working platforms are not practical.
We have them in a variety of sizes, as shown below, ranging from a 4 man box, down to a single man box. They are available in both closed and open tops depending on your preference. The man lifting boxes have forklift pockets and lifting lugs which enable easy maneuverability via forklift or crane. The doors are also inward opening only and self-closing with a latch to prevent unintentional opening during works.
Man cage hire comes with lifting chains, a current engineers certificate and fits within the Australian man cage for crane regulations. Safety harnesses should be worn with use and we have harness hire. It is also important to know the difference between a crane man box and a first aid cage and this is explained here. As part of our crane equipment range, we also have lifting cages for cranes which can be found here.
