Using Adjustable Access Stairs For Excavation Access

Ladder access into trenches and excavations are now a thing of the past. By using our aluminium temporary access stairs, you can minimise the risks of slips trips and falls. Using portable stairs with handrails also makes it much easier to bring tools down into the work area.

Our adjustable stairs come in a range of sizes with adjustable height elevation from 1.9m to 4.0m. They can be optimised to the correct height and angle for your work site.

Also known as temporary construction stairs, they can provide stair access for batters, waterway access, and staircase voids. The portable steps are foldable, ideal for storage and transport. Ideal for moving around the site when works are constantly moving forward.

They are a better option than stair ladders as they are wheelless which provides greater stability for access into the excavation. They also provide advantages over scaffolding stairs as no scaffolders ticket is required for set up. The portable safety steps self-level providing access at the correct level of excavation.

As excavations are generally the first stage of works, the benefits of hiring the adjustable access stairs greatly outweighs purchasing them outright. It is much more cost-effective and using our range gives access to all sizes. They are available for short and long term hire at discounted rates.
